اجتاحت عاصفة غبار شديدة، تسمى “الهبوب”، أجزاء من وسط ولاية كاليفورنيا الأمريكية رافقتها سحب ضخمة من الجسيمات الدقيقة الدوامة، التي خلقت مشهدا دراميا عبر المناظر الطبيعية الريفية في عدد من مقاطعات كاليفورنيا.
وشكلت العاصفة الغبارية جداراً من الغبار لف وادي سان جواكين في كاليفورنيا، وشمل مقاطعات فريسنو وكينغز وماديرا وتولاري.
وأظهرت مقاطع مصورة، نشرها رواد منصات التواصل الاجتماعي، عاصفة الغبار الضخمة وكأنها موجة عملاقة تتحطم، حيث كانت أطول من السحب والجبال.

وأصدرت هيئة الأرصاد الجوية سلسلة من التحذيرات بعد أن خلق جدار الغبار الهائل ظروف رؤية شبه معدومة لبعض الطرق في الوادي المركزي الجنوبي.
